THE JIMNY GATHERING WEEKEND PROGRAMME
Taking Place from the 22nd to the 24th of September 2023, the Jimny Gathering and Safari Town
Festival is set to unite countless Jimny enthusiasts and owners from all corners of the country,
to achieve the remarkable feat of assembling the most Jimnys ever seen in one location.
Beyond its record-breaking ambitions, the event promises to deliver the ultimate celebration
for devotees of this adventurous 4×4 vehicle. The town of Clarens in the Eastern Free State will
serve as the picturesque destination, selected not only for its breathtaking beauty but also for
its convenient accessibility from all corners of the country.
Friday:
Travel Itinerary:
- 05:00 Get together at Penta Suzuki Menlyn for a coffee.
- 06:00 Depart from Penta Suzuki Menlyn.
- 07:00 Arrive at Heidelberg (People not joining in PTA can join here).
- 07:30 Leave Heidelberg https://bit.ly/HeidelbergStop
- 11:00 Arrive at Reitz (refuel & breakfast)

After departing from Bethlehem, those who booked private accommodation will travel to their respective destinations while those camping with the Jimny
Crew will meet up again at the Camping Village.
Enjoy a fun afternoon jamming out at the silent disco. Non-campers are welcome to come visit the camping village too!
Nothing else is planned for the evening so feel free to relax or just socialise with other Jimny owners.
Saturday:
Everyone can grab an early breakfast. All Jimny Crew members
(campers and non-campers) will embark on
a trip on the 4×4 route at 7:30. Those who want to take on the course in their own time can do so between 6:30 and 14:00.
Once you have completed the 4×4 course, or do not wish to participate, shuttle services can be used to make your way to the Safari Town Music Festival in Clarens Town Square.
Sunday:
Everyone will celebrate National Heritage Day and
Gather at Langkranz Farm for the Jimny Gathering
main event, where we will attempt to set an official
world record.
We will communicate on the WhatsApp group
where the Jimny Crew will meet so that non-
campers can find us.
Be sure to also use this time to enter our lucky draw
to win amazing prizes from our suppliers to the
value of R50 000!
Cut off time for entries will be 16:00, with the lucky
draw taking place at 17:00 (subject to change due
to interference from the Jimny Gathering World
Record event).
Monday:
Everyone heads back home on their own schedules.
