Bosfontein Caravan Resort is situated on a farm between Bela Bela en Modimolle, approximately ninety minutes drive from Pretoria. One of the two natural springs in the Tweefontein area originates on the farm.

A Variety of small game like duikers, bush buck, squirrels, and bush babies frequents the resort. The resort boasts an abundance of bird life and indigenous plants.

Bosfontein has shaded stands with 10A power points and water taps.

The ablution facilities consists of ladies and gents bathroom with a special bathroom for the little ones in the ladies bathroom, scullery and a flush toilet.

There is a shop, volleyball area and a normal and a heated swimming pool on the grounds.  If you are an avid fisherman, you are welcome to do some fishing at the resort.

Fishing on a “catch and release” basis. (Due to rainfall in the area the dam may not always be full).

Price :

• Camping :   R520 per site – maximum of 4 people per site
• 4×4 eco route :  R250 per vehicle
• Thaba Kwena Crocodile Farm entry fee : R50 per adult / R20 per child u/ 12 and pensioners
• Lunch at Thaba Kwena :  For your own account.
• All other items of a personal nature or incidentals are for your own account.

Thursday

• Arrive at Bosfontein camping grounds at leisure. We will not be travelling in convoy – rather arrive at your leisure, in time for a communal braai on Friday night, starting at 6:00pm.  Bring your crockery, cutlery, meat, salads and coolerbox with your drinks and your camping chair.

Friday

• Breakfast at leisure at your tent
• 09:00 Depart on 4×4 drive.  Pack your picnic basket as we will stop for a picnic lunch on route.
• Arrive back at camp at approx. 17:00
• Free time until 18:30
• 18:30 – Start the fires for communal braai – bring your crockery, cutlery, meat, salads and coolerbox with your drinks and your camping chair..

Saturday

• Breakfast at leisure at your tent
• Visit to Thaba Kwena Crocodile farm.  The farm is nestled between Bela Bela and Modimolle in the Waterberg,  Thaba Kwena was founded more than 25 years ago. Today the Farm is one of the largest crocodile farms in South Africa.
• Light lunches are available at the restaurant at the farm – costs for lunch are for your own account.
• 18:30 – Start the fires for communal braai – bring your crockery, cutlery, meat, salads and coolerbox with your drinks and your camping chair..

Sunday

• Breakfast at leisure at your tent
• Break down camp
• Depart from the camping ground by 11am
